In Cooperative Cacophony, the white walls of a gallery are transformed into a canvas open for public inscription. Optical and audio technologies are used to augment the real-time mark-making, implicating the viewer as performer and suggesting that while privatized architecture might remain immutable,one can still rework its interior.
